First time to eat here and it is a good experience. I love their version of tangsuyuk and jjangmyeon. Their corn tea is also a must try. I will definite go back to this noodle bar for more. Cheers also to the good service by the crew!

One the best korean food that i have eaten. Looking at the menu, it's not much to think & there's not a lot of options. However, the taste is the game changer. I ordered Jjam myeong, mussels soup, stir fry pork, & the chicken katsu. It's a bit pricey. But, the portion make it worth. All of the food that i have mentioned is well made & handmade, even the sauce & the soup. Jeez, that's a lot of work. Probably, the least favorable part is the atmosphere & place design. through at least the place is clean.

Noodle nice and smooth, sweet and sour pork good, kimchi refillable. Soup is spicy and has strong seafood fragrance (in a good way). Price, abit too expensive but the portion is big anyway..

Nestled within the vibrant Emporium Pluit Mall, the recently inaugurated Mr. Paik's Noodle House beckons patrons with its unique fusion of Korean and Chinese culinary delights. Specializing in a diverse array of dishes, from the savory jajangmyeon, boasting rich black bean sauce-coated noodles, to the tantalizing jjamppong, a Korean spicy seafood noodle soup, the menu promises a delectable journey through these distinct gastronomic traditions. Opting for a gastronomic exploration, we savored a set featuring the renowned JaJangmyeon and the enticing Tang Su Yuk. The JaJangmyeon, while delivering a decent flavor profile, left my taste buds yearning for a subtle yet invigorating kick. However, the Tang Su Yuk emerged as a culinary triumph, with its crispy fried pork achieving a golden perfection on the outside, encapsulating succulent juiciness within. What truly elevated the Tang Su Yuk experience was the harmonious marriage of textures and flavors. The sweet and sour sauce, artfully drizzled over the impeccably fried pork, added a delightful contrast, completing the dish with finesse. The result was a symphony of sensations, where the crispy exterior provided a satisfying crunch, while the succulent interior offered a burst of savory indulgence. In essence, Mr. Paik's Noodle House proved to be a haven for those seeking an exquisite blend of Korean and Chinese culinary artistry. * Order their set menu for free-flow tea drink and Kim-Chi sides.

Paik’s Noodle is well-known for bringing Korean-Chinese comfort food to a wider audience, and their Jjajangmyeon is one of the standout dishes on the menu. This beloved Korean black bean noodle dish is all about rich, savory flavors and satisfying textures, and Paik’s version delivers on both

One of Paik's Noodle branches in Emporium Pluit Mall. For our Moslem friends, it's non-halal. Supposedly found by celebrity chef Baek Jong-won, we had high expectations coming in. The restaurant had moderate amount of seating, looked very clean and contemporary. When we came on a weekday evening, there were no other guests dining so it was very calm and quiet. The server helped introduce ourselves to the menu since we're not quite familiar with Korean cuisine and its termings. Two of their best-sellers caught our eyes: Jajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. Their Jajangmyeon was a highly-sought signature for their daily fresh-made noodles. The noodles were thick and very chewy, quite similar to a Chinese 'bakmi karet' with slight variance to its thickness. They were a bit oily but tasted bland for the most part. The black bean sauce (chunjang) was dark, sweet, and rich. There were bits of pork cutlets, cabbages and lentils as well. The bland noodles, paired with this sauce, didn't exactly produce a cohesive-tasting dish. We were actually hoping for a more bold, savoury taste - but it was quite flat and bland; each component stood out on its own without anything bridging the flavors together. However, the portion made up for a hearty meal. The Pork Tangsuyuk tasted wonderful! Cut in small pieces, fried well and even, crispy on the outer layer, with fresh sour-and-spicy sauce on top. Delicious. To us, it was a simpler, more cohesive dish compared to the signature noodles. The only thing we wished it had more of was the portion because we truly craved the taste. Aside from these, we were also served Corn Tea, Kimchi and Danmuji for free. All of them can be refilled for free as well. The Kimchi and Danmuji delivered the zing and zest we had highly missed. We ended up asking for more to pair with our meals - it was tasty. As a common Korean comfort food restaurant, it was pretty good. I'm sure other people will find the flavor profile more suitable for them. But for the way it's marketed as a celebrity chef's premium brand and the price point it's sold at, we had hoped for a better Korean meals and dining experience.

A good place to eat korean jajjangmyeon aka. Black bean noodles, because it's hard to find a really good one in my city. Almost neet my moat favourite one. Portions are big with a suitable price. Not many choices in the menu, just jajjangmyeon, jjampong, tangsuyuk, some fried noodles. You have to pay for corn tea,but they serve a free regular tea. No kimchi, just yellow radish pickles. One thing that they need to fix..their plates don't suit the tables, they are slippery. Couldn't enjoy my meal because my plate kept moving... or they could just add a plate mat.

Arguably one of the best Jajangmyeon in Jakarta with a really good kimchi side dish (+ free refill!). It's confusing enough to see why Paik's Noodle rarely have customer despite it's tasty menu. Well deserve stars 5/5.
